Alfa Romeo has launched its new Edizione Luna Rossa special edition models, blending automotive design with sailing-inspired aesthetics. The collection includes the Junior, Tonale, Stelvio, and Giulia variants, developed in collaboration with the Luna Rossa America’s Cup sailing team.
Sailing-Inspired Design for Giulia and Stelvio
The Giulia sedan and Stelvio SUV showcase the most exclusive elements of the Edizione Luna Rossa line, featuring standard white finishes with optional black and Etna red paint. Carbon fiber accents appear on red badging and side mirrors, while the Giulia incorporates side skirts from the Quadrifoglio variant.
Both models are equipped with dark-finish alloy wheels, 19 inches for the Giulia and 21 inches for the Stelvio, paired with red brake calipers.
Interiors feature extended leather upholstery complemented by Luna Rossa inserts and carbon fiber dashboard trim. A red Alfa Romeo badge decorates the steering wheel, completing the sporty yet refined cabin.

Compact SUVs with Nautical Details
The Junior and Tonale compact SUVs adopt a grey paint scheme inspired by Luna Rossa crew lifejackets, paired with gloss black bodykits and distinctive side stripes. Inside, both models feature unique seats and Luna Rossa logos, with the Tonale’s ambient lighting creating a geometric pattern reminiscent of boat sails.
The Junior’s dashboard and center console incorporate sailing-themed graphics, while both SUVs use 3D knitted fabric for seat upholstery, a material akin to technical sportswear produced with continuous thread processing to reduce waste.
Partnership and Production Details
The Edizione Luna Rossa line follows an earlier limited-edition Giulia Quadrifoglio version, of which only 10 units were produced. Unlike its predecessor, the new models have no production cap, with orders opening on December 1, 2026, and first deliveries expected in early 2027. Alfa Romeo unveiled the vehicles publicly in Naples, coinciding with preparations for the 2027 America’s Cup.
“Alfa Romeo and Luna Rossa are two authentic expressions of Italian excellence, united by the same ambition to bring to the world the constant ability to innovate and a quest for performance that accepts no compromises,” said Santo Ficili, CEO of Alfa Romeo and Maserati.
