The 2027 Jeep Wrangler Smoky Mountain Special Edition is the latest addition to the Twelve 4 Twelve Wrangler campaign, unveiled at the Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. This event draws as many as 50,000 Jeep fans and 20,000 Jeeps, making it the perfect place to display the latest special edition, according to Branden Coté, Jeep brand CEO.
It is built off the Jeep Willys platform and is priced at just $80 over a similar 2027 Jeep Willys, making it an affordable package. The Smoky Mountain Special Edition is trail-rated and comes with standard 33-inch BFGoodrich KO2 All-Terrain tires, with the option to upgrade to 35-inch tires.
The exclusive Smoky Mountain-inspired design includes Smoky Mountain hood decals, a body-color hardtop, and fender flares. A Sky One-touch powertop is also available, along with unique 17” smoky black wheels.
The special edition has a 4.10 axle ratio and trailer hitch, making it capable of handling tough terrain. The interior features rugged cloth seats with embossed Willys “air drop” image, Terracotta accent stitching, and exclusive commemorative details inspired by the Great Smoky Mountains.

The shifter has a medallion featuring a mama bear and cub graphic, celebrating the region’s wildlife. Jeep’s previous special editions, such as the Wrangler Laredo, have been well-received by fans.
The Wrangler Laredo, for example, is built off the Wrangler Willys foundation and includes the Xtreme 35 Package with 35-inch tires and 1-inch lift.
